The site uses several custom database applications to store and retreive price and news data and features interactive, flash-based, dynamically generated financial charts. E-newsletters are generated dynamically to send out the latest prices and insight into factors that influence the market. The website is able to detect mobile phone visitors and optimize the look and feel of the site uniquely for mobile users. view website

FLHW (Faith, Love, Hope, Win) is a foundation whose mission is to accelerate research to identify a cure for advanced prostate cancer. This site was designed and developed to promote a Church auction. The site includes an online form for collection of donation information. Patrons may purchase tables and tickets online and register up to eight guests per table. Guest information is stored in a MySQL database. I worked with a team to develop the Shawnee Mission Medical Center website. My part of the project included installing Joomla and setting up the site, installing and setting up several components and developing several custom modules. Components are off the shelf, commercial or open-source and sometimes required modification. After installing and setting up the online store (VirtueMart) and adding product information, I made several code customizations and created a couple of custom modules. I got to know VirtueMart quite well in order to determine which of the customer requirements could be met “out of the box” versus ones that required custom code. view website

This website is used by insurance agents to create their own custom websites. The site collects information and photos on multi-tabbed forms and stores the data in a MySQL database. After paying for the site, either online of via a check, the site is activated. The site integrates several open source frameworks. The design/CSS work was provided by another designer.

This client wanted a simple website to display available real estate properties and most importantly, the ability to quickly and easily update the site. I designed and developed the website, which includes a back-end interface where the realtors can add, update and remove property information and upload and resize photos. view website
